Meregali Has A New Competition Mindset

The first WNO event was held on Feb. 7, 2020 at the Hangar in Costa Mesa, Calif. and featured some of the best grapplers in the world in the first FloGrappling premium event. That included Nicholas Meregali who faced Victor Hugo in an ultra-heavyweight Gi match.

Most of the matches that night were Gi matches and No. 1 Meregali was upset by No. 4 Hugo to set the tone for the rest of the WNO events to follow.

Now 23 WNO events later,  Meregali is back headlining WNO, the third in last year, and is still the No. 1-ranked Gi grappler in the world. He'll face veteran Wagner Rocha, also no stranger to headlining WNO.

Most of the card for has prior experience at WNO, like Meregali and Rocha. Here is what they've done at past WNO events.
