Finishers Sub Only is back with another stacked card this January 18th, featuring a group of title matches that will close out a night of action that will be streaming exclusively on FloGrappling. Finishers is consistently putting on sick matches between the fastest rising stars on the East Coast grappling scene and if you're a fan of sub-only action, don't miss a moment.

Finishers Sub-Only is helmed by 10th Planet Bethlehem's Zach Maislany, who has helped develop elite athletes like Jon Blank, Grace Gundrum, and Rene Sousa to name a few. This event will be using CJI rules, meaning 5 minute rounds with 10-9 scoring to determine winners if it goes to the cards.

The night will be headlined by 10th Planet's young heavyweight king Pat Shahgholi, who will be defending his Finishers championship against Connor Dixon. Pat has made his name as a great leg locker (one of the better heavyweight leg lockers on the scene) with a mean streak and Dixon is a very active athlete who brings a lot of aggression to the mats when he competes. These are two of the more straight-forward heavyweights, who are both more mobile than the typical plodding big man.

Matt Masch scored a HUGE result for himself by winning the recent CJJ Worlds, a ruleset that mixes grappling with ground strikes, beating a field of tough opponents to stamp himself as one to watch in 2025. This will be our first chance to see him this year as he defends his Finishers 155lb championship against Chris Bobe. Can he keep the momentum rolling?

In addition to the those matches, long-time Finishers veteran Kate Egan of Gracie Philadelphia takes on a strong up-and-comer in Sharon Meguira for the interim 145lb championship belt and Jordan Juliano (10P Bethlehem's best prospect) faces former D1 wrestler Max Livingston of Philadelphia fame.
