Jiu-jitsu fans, it’s almost time. The 2025 IBJJF Brazilian National Championships begin on April 26 in São Paulo, Brazil, kicking off a week of grueling competition.
As one of the four major Grand Slam events, the IBJJF Brasileiro will showcase talent across nine weight divisions and five belt levels at Ginásio Poliesportivo José Correa, bringing the sport's top names with it.

The black belt division will be a massive challenge for all competitors, as it has been for a few years now.
Since the rise of the sport's most unstoppable forces in the black belt class, including Euro and Pans champions Diego Pato, Adam Wardzinski, Gabi Pessanha, Tainan Dalpra and Janaina Maia, competition has never been more cutthroat.
Even though those champions hail from different weights, the Medium-Heavyweight division will be one of the more challenging in the competition, with 25 grapplers set to compete.
