The Polish standout earned the No. 13 seed and will face No. 4 seed Eoghan O’Flanagan of Great Britain in the opening round of the tournament in Krakow, Poland.
Wardzinski To Face O'Flannigan In First Round
The matchup is one of the most intriguing first-round contests in the -99kg bracket.
O'Flannigan enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed, while Wardzinski will compete in front of a home crowd as one of Poland's most recognizable grapplers.

Kaynan Duarte secured the No. 1 seed in the division and will open the tournament against No. 16 seed Nico Maglicic.
On the opposite side of the bracket, Luke Griffith earned the No. 2 seed and will face Poland's Marcin Maciulewicz, the No. 15 seed.
Other notable first-round matchups include Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu against Eli Braz, Steffan Banta against Patrick Gaudio, and Declan Moody against Achilles Rocha.
