Mackenzie Dern's most recent fight at LFA 6 in March has been made available to watch in full.
Mackenzie Dern will debut at a new weight class this weekend for Legacy Fighting Alliance 24 in her hometown of Phoenix, AZ.
The two-time IBJJF black belt world champion is moving up to 125lb to take on IFBB Professional Fitness competitor and 3-3 pro MMA fighter Mandy Polk in the card's women's flyweight featured bout on Friday night.
Dern remains one of the brightest women's MMA prospects out there, and her fans are hoping this matchup will serve as a coming-out party for the 3-0 fighter. Dern initially struggled to make 115lb in her prior bouts, and it appears 125lb will be a more natural weight class for the IBJJF featherweight (129lb).

At LFA 6 in March, her performance in a catchweight bout against Katherine Roy marked a drastic improvement in striking for the elite grappler and ultimately led to Dern capturing a victory via unanimous decision.

Dern's upcoming opponent Polk is coming off of a TKO loss in her promotional debut with the LFA in December. In Polk's second fight, she draws the tall order of facing "the next Ronda Rousey," as Dern is described by her teammate Benson Henderson.
