Felipe Pena shows he’s still one of the most dangerous grapplers on the planet, DJ Jackson takes double gold in Kazakhstan, and more in the weekend recap. 

Felipe Pena and Tanquinho win in Russia

ACB Jiu-Jitsu ran -60kg and -95kg Grands Prix in Moscow over the weekend, with Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes and Felipe Pena winning the top prizes, respectively. 

Tanquinho submitted Milton Bastos, beat Joao Miyao via points, and submitted Samir Chantre in the final to win the 60kg GP.

Felipe Pena submitted all three opponents to win the 95kg GP. He beat Gutemberg Pereira via calf slicer and both Lucas "Hulk" Barbosa and Abdurakhman Bilarov via guillotine.


DJ Jackson wins in Kazakhstan

Continuing his tour of Central Asia and following a recent outing in the Ukraine, DJ Jackson took double gold at an ADCC rules tournament in Kazakhstan. The TLI product submitted every opponent to win gold in the absolute division. 


Davi Ramos wins by submission in UFC

Davi Ramos’ MMA career has been picking up steam and the 2015 ADCC champion put together a very solid performance to beat Chris Gruetzemacher via third-round rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night 123 on Saturday night in Fresno, CA. Ramos, a lightweight MMA fighter, improves to 7-2-0 in the ring.
