KASAI Pro Returns November 10 With Featherweight Tournament

KASAI Elite Grappling Championships (KASAI) returns to the Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, November 10 for ‘KASAI Pro 4’.

The event will showcase some of Jiu-Jitsu’s most decorated athletes, compelling matchups, and a feature eight-man no-gi tournament at 145lbs (65.77kg) to crown the KASAI Pro Inaugural World Featherweight Champion.

Renato Canuto is the current KASAI Lightweight & Welterweight Double Champ.

“Returning to the Manhattan Center is very exciting for us”, said KASAI CEO Rich Byrne. “We can’t wait to unveil the uniquely deep card of fighters we have lined-up for November 10th. ‘KASAI Pro 4’ promises to be our biggest event yet. Stay tuned for details”.

Tournament grapplers for ‘KASAI Pro 4’ will compete in six-minute bouts across two round-robin brackets. The winners of each bracket all advance to a main event championship match. All tournament matches will use KASAI Pro rules, no advantages are awarded and all submissions are legal.

'KASAI Pro 4’ will also showcase world-class superfight matchups.

Tickets for 'KASAI Pro 4' will go on sale next week. The event will also air live on FloGrappling.

KASAI will also hold a pro qualifier tournament on Saturday, October 13. The winner will gain automatic entry into the KASAI Pro Featherweight Tournament on November 10.
