Denver: Mario Andre wins double gold

Marcio Andre won the lightweight division with two submissions in two matches and had to go through two tough Atos black belts to win absolute gold in Denver. He beat newly promoted medium-heavyweight Dominque Bell before going on to out-score Michael Liera Jr in the final for absolute gold.

Brasilia: Yan Lucas wins Double Gold in Brasilia 

Yan Lucas is a machine. The 2018 Brazilian champ stormed through the Brasilia Open with double gold at middleweight and absolute. He beat super-heavyweight champ Pedro Henrique (NS Brotherhood) and ultra-heavyweight champ Raul Fernandes Almeida (Nova Uniao) in the final.

San Antonio: Manuel Ribamar takes Absolute Gold

Manuel Ribamar, who often pulls double duty as a referee when he competes, took absolute gold. He was signed up at super-heavy and had no matches in his division, but took a win over Thiago Macedo (Rodrigo Pinheiro BJJ) in the absolute final after defeating Pedro Henrique Palhares (Luiz Palhares JJ).
