Clark Gracie was in fine form on the first day of action of the 2018 IBJJF No-Gi World Championships.

The omoplata master showed that he hadn't forgotten his favorite position, earning gold by submitting Barry Simms with his feared shoulder lock and using the position at will to secure the sweep and off-balance his opponents.

Gracie's toughest match came in from Romulo Melo, one of the toughest masters competitors on the circuit today, who forced the match to go to referee's decision. Clark fought a total of four matches on the day and secured three submissions on his way to gold. See all of his matches below.
