Bia Mesquita hasn't competed at No-Gi Worlds since 2010, but that didn't prevent the Gracie Humaita superstar from blowing through the middleweight and absolute bracket last weekend in Anaheim, earning not just one, but two gold medals for her efforts.

Frankly, it's a result that really shouldn't shock anyone, as Mesquita is the 2017 ADCC Champion, a multiple time World Champion, and generally considered one of the very best female competitors of ANY generation.  With that said, it's always impressive to witness greatness in action, which is why we've put together her road to gold below.
