Jones vs Wardzinski Showdown

This time around we are treated to an exciting main event between ADCC silver medalist Craig Jones and Adam Wardzinski. Both athletes competed in the 88kg division at ADCC, with Jones submitting three opponents before losing a close final with Matheus Diniz. Wardzinski went 1-1 at the tournament, defeating Mike Perez in his first match, and recently won his weight and the open class at No-Gi Europeans.

Dante Leon Looks To Continue Hot Streak vs Returning Marcio Andre

Another exciting matchup will go down between Dante Leon and Marcio Andre. Dante has had a breakout year, with earlier submission victories over Edwin Najmi and Matheus Lutes capped off by wins over Jon Satava and Lucas Lepri in his run to the ADCC semifinals.

Dante also recently submitted Isaque Bahiense with a guillotine at Fight 2 Win. The two-time No-Gi Pans champion will be matched up with 2016 No-Gi Worlds champ Marcio Andre in an exciting battle at 85kg.

Both Ruotolo Brothers In Action

Sixteen-year-old Tye Ruotolo from Atos recently won over the crowd at ADCC in his amazing run to the semifinals; he will be joined competing at GrappleFest by his twin brother Kade. Both athletes are two of the best teenage prospects in the sport right now and bring a fast-paced style, always looking for the finish. Tye will fight ADCC vet Thomas Halpin, while Kade is matched up with Jeremy Skinner from Absolute MMA.

How to Watch WNO: Gordon Ryan vs Matheus Diniz

Gordon Matheus

This may be the greatest no-gi superfight grappling card ever put together! We will finally get to see the reigning ADCC 88 kg champ, Matheus Diniz, take his shot at Gordon Ryan. Gordon will try to become the first man to submit Diniz in no-gi, but he'll have to deal with Diniz's physicality.

The Hit List: Four Explosive Finishes From Dante Leon

Dante Leon WNO.jpg

Until recently, Dante Leon could have been considered a gatekeeper in the 77 kg division. He could tear through the early stages of brackets, but often faltered when paired against more noteworthy opponents. The Canadian seemed to find his stride a few months before ADCC last year, and has been dismantling some of the most talented lightweights in submission grappling ever since.
