Gordon Ryan is the undisputed P4P #1 ranked no-gi grappler in the world, and he's made it no secret that he wants to take on all challengers to further cement his position.

Gordon Ryan is the undisputed P4P #1 ranked no-gi grappler in the world, and he's made it no secret that he wants to take on all challengers to further cement his position.

The problem is he can't find any challengers, as the top athletes in the sport would prefer to not face Gordon than attempt to take the top spot in the sport.

Enter Ronaldo Junior.

Gordon Ryan loves his online challenges, and he found himself was recently called out by the up-and-coming Atos black belt Ronaldo Junior. This led to a bunch of trash talk between the two athletes on social media, finally resulting in the no-time limit, submission-only main event of our next mega show...

WNO: Gordon Ryan vs Ronaldo Junior Goes Down July 31 In Austin, TX

For those unfamiliar with the new black belt Ronaldo Pereira de Souza Junior, he was one of the most hyped athletes in the colored belt divisions over the last couple of years.

In 2019 he won Worlds in gi and no-gi at brown belt, but he's unranked as a black belt in no-gi (he is the #6-ranked middleweight in the gi). He will no doubt be a massive underdog against Gordon, who is coming off a submission victory over Kyle Boehm at the last WNO.

Ronaldo is going into this match with nothing to lose, however, and deserves respect for being the only athlete willing to step up and face The King.
