The IBJJF has announced a slate of superfights that will take place on September 1 at the IBJJF Absolute Grand Prix, part of Jiu-Jitsu Con weekend in Las Vegas, NV.

The IBJJF American Nationals delivered on a great weekend of gi and no-gi competition in Las Vegas, with grappling stars Elisabeth Clay, Ronaldo Junior, Elder Cruz, and Melissa Cueto taking home absolute gold. There were great black belt debuts, a few upsets, and some razor close matchups. CheckMat won both the gi and no-gi team titles, over tough squads from Carlson Gracie and Gracie Barra.

The black belts came ready to put on a show at the 2023 IBJJF Pan Championships. Filled with some of the best matches of the year, Pans delivered a mix of submission thrills and gritty fights that went the distance. Here are 10 of the best bouts from Pans 2023:

The Tezos IBJJF Flograppling Grand Prix is set for March 3 in Austin, Texas. The women’s heavyweight bracket, complete with four world champions, includes Andressa Cintra, Ana Carolina Vieira, Melissa Cueto, and the return of Nathiely De Jesus.

Lloyd Irvin’s Elijah Dorsey will replace Samuel Nagai in the Tezos IBJJF Flograppling Lightweight Grand Prix. The GP will be held in Austin, Texas on Friday, March 3.

The fourth showdown between Gordon Ryan and Felipe Pena is less than a week away. In the last two weeks, we've caught up with both athletes to check in on their training camps, and to hear their takes on the upcoming bout at Tezos WNO: Ryan vs Pena II presented by Fat Tire.

The IBJJF announced new rule changes designed to combat stalling which will impact matches in the IBJJF FloGrappling Grand Prix series.

The athletes are weighted in and ready to go! Tonight, four men will square off to become the IBJJF FloGrappling medium heavyweight Grand Prix champion. Four women will take the mat trying to become the first ever female Grand Prix champion. The night also promises three high level superfights including many of the top ranked grapplers in the world.

The IBJJF FloGrappling Grand Prix is coming to Austin, TX on October 28 for a night of elite level grappling. The event will feature two four-person grand prix brackets as well as three premiere superfights.

Three-time IBJJF Pans champion Johnatha Alves will replace Andy Murasaki in the upcoming IBJJF FloGrappling Grand Prix in a superfight against 2019 IBJJF Pans and European Champion Levi Jones-Leary.
