Craig Jones enter his Road To ADCC match against Lucas "Hulk" Barbosa on a six match win streak, including five submissions. Three of those wins have come in 2021, and two of them were against Hulk's Atos teammates Ronaldo Junior and Tye Ruotolo.

Atos and DDS are no doubt the top rivalry in the sport these days, and this match is yet another chapter in the ongoing feud between the undisputed top two teams currently.

"Gordon instigated an incredible rivalry between DDS and Atos. He then retired due to stomach issues, leaving me to deal with the angry Atos wrath."

Craig's first match against Atos this year was against Ronaldo Junior, a match he won by inside heel hook -

After a quick submission victory over Luiza Panza after Ronaldo, Craig was next matched up with 18 year old prodigy Tye Ruotolo. Craig surprised a lot of people with his strategy, intent on wrestling and maintaining top position, and the 18 year old was the first athlete to survive all 15 minutes against Craig at WNO.

"First opponent I picked was Ronaldo, I picked him because he never competes no-gi.

Second opponent was Tye, I picked him because he was a teenager. Sadly the slippery little bastard was a handful.

I've been known to face women and children, the next logical choice was the elderly... Josh Hinger. Sadly he's declined the match and I've been forced to face Lucas Barbosa."

Craig continues to work his way through the Atos gauntlet on July 17th, this time in ADCC rules. ADCC is the event where Craig first made his name in 2017, and then established himself as here to stay in 2019. The 2019 silver medalist at 88kg will have his hands full when he clashes with the 2019 bronze medalist at 99kg in Barbosa.

"Hulk is an incredible athlete. He is a guy that can literally beat world class competition with his eyes closed."
