The 10th Planet athlete is an experienced competitor who is currently ranked #12 in the world, and in this ADCC cycle took silver and bronze at the two North American Trials. This will be his third appearance at ADCC Worlds.

Jay is known for his aggressive pace, strong wrestling, submission escapes, and how quickly he has improved in the sport - competing at the elite levels after just a few years of training submission grappling. He previously competed at the ADCC World Championships in 2022, and placed at both North American Trials this season.

Barch, known for his wrestling base, placed 4th in 2022 after an upset victory over the 1-seed JT Torres in the quarterfinals. Barch is currently ranked 5th in the world at 170lbs.
