Episode Synopsis: Part two of "Mackenzie Dern: True Warrior" shows the jiu-jitsu black belt world champion getting ready for a new phase in her career! We go inside the MMA Lab gym in Phoenix, Arizona, to see Dern's first-ever MMA sparring session.
Also in the episode is a revealing and honest interview with Dern's father, Wellington "Megaton" Dias, who plainly states that he doesn't like the idea of his daughter competing in MMA.
This is a bad, bad deal, man. As a father, I really don’t want to see her doing MMA. But as I said, I support her in whatever she does. She’s a very pretty girl — I think she got my genes! No, I think she’s very pretty, and it would hurt pretty bad to see her get hurt.
