Women's Pound-for-Pound No-Gi Rankings

Helena Crevar is the undisputed number one in the world, any weight. With her wins at CJI over Adele and Sarah, she is now our youngest no-gi pound-for-pound athlete ever (man or woman). She's done it with tons of submissions, tons of competitions and results, and a willingness to take on anyone. There's a chance we are entering an era where she is on top here for a while, but there's so many talented athletes here that there's still many meaningful matches and rematches to be had.

Sarah debuts here in the fourth spot. It's high to debut, but it was a thorough victory in a historic bracket over the ADCC champion. I think such a bracket and result demands this kind of recognition. Helena won the first match in the gi and Sarah won the rematch, so let's also not assume this rivalry is put away and over either.

Cassia Moura also debuts. She has a win in the past over Sarah, but I don't feel like it's right to keep her above because they are both still so young and I have to consider the possibility that Sarah has jumped a level. Cassia is a no-gi black belt world champion and has already proven herself as elite.

Rankings do not reflect ADCC Open & 1-star IBJJF Open competition.
