They Will Meet Again: Leandro Lo vs Erberth Santos

On July 9th 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, two men fought their way through one of the toughest tournaments in sports.



Both Leandro Lo and Erberth Santos battled their way to the finals after five grueling matches against some of the most decorated black belts in the game. They collided in an all time classic match that saw Santos make one small mistake and that would be all Leandro Lo needed.

After winning the Lightweight Grand Prix in January, Leandro Lo once again stood atop the podium, this time of the Middleweight Grand Prix. 

Now, on October 22nd Leandro Lo will return to Copa Podio and attempt to be the first man to capture all three Grand Prix titles in a single year. But to do it he'll have to go through a red hot Erberth Santos who's hungry for revenge. The Heavyweight Grand Prix features familiar names like Leandro Lo & Diego Borges but adds monster heavyweights like Alexander Trans & Gabriel Fedor to the mix.

Leandro Lo has been placed in the Yellow group ahead of the giant Grand Prix alongside his middleweight finals dance partner, Erberth Santos. So if Leandro Lo plans on making history he'll have to repeat what he did on that epic night in Argentina, and then some.
