Tezos WNO: Gordon Ryan vs Felipe Pena II presented by Fat Tire is scheduled on February 25 at the Hangar at the OC Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, CA. A limited quantity of tickets will be available for purchase before the event; tickets will not be sold at the door.

About Tezos WNO: Gordon Ryan vs Felipe Pena II

The rivalry between Gordon Ryan and Felipe Pena has built across a nearly six-year span.

Pena, already an IBJJF world champion when he first encountered the brash rookie black belt Gordon Ryan in 2016, took an early lead. Forty-five minutes into a one hour time limit match, Pena submitted Ryan from the back.

He doubled down in 2017, defeating Ryan 3-0 in the ADCC absolute final.

The two taunted each other on social media for years after the ADCC match, but Ryan finally got his shot at redemption in August 2022, when he faced Pena in a no-time limit main event at Tezos WNO. Pena forfeited the match at the 44-minute mark.

On February 25, they'll take the mats again. Can Gordon Ryan prove that the momentum is now firmly in his favor? Or will Felipe Pena take a third victory, and close the door on this rivalry forever?
