The IBJJF Worlds 2023 is set to take place on June 1-4th in Long Beach, California at The Walter Pyramid. The championship will feature some of the jiu-jitsu's top grapplers for the most prestigious event of the year. 

The first IBJJF world championship occurred in 1996 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2007 the championship re-located to Long Beach, California where it's been held ever since. 

The tournament will feature nine male and eight female weight classes, plus an open weight category for each, at the blue belt, purple belt, brown belt and black belt ranks.

The first day of competition will be on Thursday, June 1, the entire tournament will be live streamed on FloGrappling. Here is the complete tournament schedule.
