The first submission of the WNO 29 main card arrived thanks to Roosevelt Sousa.

The WNO 29 main card has officially begun, and the competition has been nothing but heated so far in Miami, Florida. 

Over 11 matches of no-gi grappling, some of the best Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighters are taking the mats in order to crown a national champion in six different weight classes.

Now that the undercard has come and gone, the main card is underway, and the first submission of the main card came during the third round featuring Roosevelt Sousa and vs. Igor Tanabe, also known as "Fat Ninja."

Sousa got the submission in just under five minutes with a leg lock and toe hold in the heavyweight bout. The multi-IBBJF champion ended Tanabe's WNO debut with the defeat, but what else can be expected of the No. 11 ranked fighter.
