Who's Number One (WNO) returns for it's first event of 2021 on February 26th, with WNO: Craig Jones vs Ronaldo Junior! As always, WNO showcases the most exciting talent in the no-gi competition scene, a mix of established veterans and the up and comers from the next generation.

Official FloGrappling No-Gi Rankings

We've already announced the first three matches for this event, Craig vs Ronaldo, Nicky Ryan vs Roberto Jimenez and Gabi Garcia vs Nathiely de Jesus. The event will have seven matches total, and now it's time for our fourth match announcement... Geo Martinez vs Junny Ocasio!

Sticking with the formula of WNO, we only want athletes who are exciting, always pushing the pace and going for the finish. Both Geo and Junny fit this mold, being two of the most fun to watch competitors under 145 pounds. They have met only one time so far in their career, with Junny taking the win on points at KASAI in 2019.

Geo Martinez

One of the best competitors representing the 10th Planet team, Geo "The Freakazoid" Martinez. This will be Geo's third appearance on WNO, he defeated Paulo Miyao in October before losing a decision to Kennedy Maciel in January. The top ranked featherweight grappler in the world, Geo went up in weight to fight the top lightweight Kennedy at our last event.

Back down at his natural weight class, Geo will be looking for revenge against Junny, who he lost to in their only meeting on points. After clashing with two competitors from the IBJJF scene in his last two matches, Geo finally gets to face another athlete who made his name in sub only competition when he goes against Junny. Geo has 33 wins in his career, with 23 of those wins (70%) coming by submission.

"I feel like it's my time to shine right now, I don't care who is in front of me, I'm ready for anything and anyone. I hope everyone is excited for this freak to put on a show. I'm not just coming out there to win, but also to entertain like I always do. You already know - FREAKS DON'T SLEEP."

Junny Ocasio

Unity Jiu-Jitsu competitor Edwin "Junny" Ocasio has won six of his last seven matches, and like his opponent recently lost to top ranked lightweight Kennedy Maciel. Junny was going way up in weight for the Kennedy match, and is even bumping up a weight class here, he is currently ranked fifth in the bantamweight division.

Besides the Geo win, Junny has some other ranked wins over Jon Calestine, Gabe Tuttle, Lucas Pinheiro and Marcelo Cohen. His last five matches have been on the F2W circuit, with two heel hooks and an inverted triangle submission in those matches. Junny will yet again be the smaller competitor like he was against Kennedy, but the bantamweight is fearless and just wants to fight the best in the world.

"I've spent the last few years developing not only my body and jiu-jitsu, but also my mind. I've never felt better and I'm ready to show the world where hard work can take you. Geo is one of the best grapplers in the world and I'm excited to face him again. It will be a must see - DON'T BLINK!"
