
Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Born on December 20, 1980, Abreu is an ADCC absolute champion and IBJJF World No-GI champion. He is the founder and team leader of Fight Sports, headquartered in Miami, FL and with locations around the world. Abreu received his black belt from Francisco "Toco" Albuquerque. An ultra-heavyweight competitor, "Cyborg" is known for his success in no-gi jiu-jitsu and grappling competition and invented the position known as the "tornado guard". Abreu was voted the 2020 Male Grappler of the Year in the FloGrappling Awards.
