Nicholas Meregali scored one of the fastest choke submissions at a WNO event ever in May when he caught Pedro Marinho with a mounted triangle, and now he is looking to make more WNO history.

Meregali faces rival Kaynan Duarte in the co-main event at Tezos WNO 19: Meregali vs. Duarte on Aug. 10 in Austin, Texas at the Palmer Center.

Duarte and Meregali have chirped at one another for more than a year and last summer Duarte issued a challenge to Meregali at WNO.

He accepted, and now the two former IBJJF World Champions and 2022's No.1 heavyweight and No.1 super heavyweight will go head-to-head.
