Mica Galvao found a rear naked choke submission to retain his 170-pound Welterweight WNO title against Kody Steele on Nov. 30 at Tezos WNO 21: Pedro Marinho vs Rafael Lovato Jr Presented by Fat Tire at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. 

Steele avoided several submission attempts before Galvao landed the one that stuck and ended the match.

Galvao retained his belt moments after teammate Diogo Reis lost his belt in the men's featherweight division. Reis appeared to suffer a knee injury that led to Diego Pato to win the belt.

Mica Galvao And Nicky Ryan At WNO 22

After the match, Galvao and Nick Ryan was announced for the first WNO event of 2023, WNO 22 which is slated for February. Ryan won at WNO 20 in August of 2023.
