Rana Willink is the daughter of notorious Navy Seal, podcaster and grappling trainer Jocko Willink who got see his girl in action this weekend at ADCC West Coast Trials. Prior to Rana's first match Willink said " there's one specific grappler that i definitely want to see how she does,  and that my daughter."

Rana Willink is in her first ever ADCC Trials event and is representing Victory MMA amongst 1,000 other athletes from across the world. In her first match vs. Amanda Vanstatum she won via submission with her dad in her corner.

When Is WNO 23?

Many of the grapplers in ADCC Trials and World Championships will also be competing at WNO 23. 

WNO 23 is scheduled for May 10 at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. 

What Does ADCC Stand For?

ADCC stands for Abu Dhabi Combat Club,  which is the name of the events organizers. The inaugural tournament was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1998 and has been held every two years since 2001.
