BJJ Stars 18 will feature a “Peaky Blinders” theme, though the biggest crime of the evening will be who from the star-studded lineup steals the spotlight at the 11,000-seat Ginásio do Ibirapuera (Gymnasium of Ibirapuera).
The top local favorites at BJJ Stars 18 will be Pedro Marinho, Fabricio Andrey, Meyram Maquine and Vagner Rocha. Maquine was a finalist at 70kgs at BJJ Stars 17, losing to Ruan Alvarenga in the final.
BJJ Stars debuted in 2019 with the hope of someday being the largest Brazilian jiu jitsu event in the world. The events continue to attract the world’s best athletes for super fights and traditional tournament formats.
