Grappling star Mica Galvão has joined the CJI 2 team with New Wave Jiu-Jitsu, the John Danaher & Gordon Ryan-led squad based out of Austin, TX. The 2024 ADCC Champion's participation was announced and confirmed by CJI Organizer Craig Jones at WNO 29, with both Jones and Galvão in attendance.

Jonnatas Gracie and Mica Galvão are set to face off in the main event of WNO 28 for the WNO Middleweight Championship in a major divisional matchup between the Brazilian champions. It will all be going down on June 13th in Costa Mesa, CA, with some more major matchup announcements coming up soon.

Jon Blank has agreed to replace PJ Barch in the upcoming BJJ Stars 15 -83kg Grand Prix, with an injury forcing Barch's late withdrawal from the prestigious tournament. BJJ Stars 15 will be going down live exclusively on FloGrappling on April 26th, with some of the best in the world facing off in major matches.

The upcoming BJJ Stars 15 middleweight grand prix has announced their final participant - and it's a major one, as 2024 Super Grand Slam Champion Mica Galvão is in. Mica, who usually competes at 170lbs, joins seven other men who will all take their shot at the R$100,000 prize for the Grand Prix champion. The tournament goes down as part of the Sao Paulo-based super fight series on April 26th, airing exclusively on FloGrappling (outside of Brazil, where it's available on pay-per-view).
