ADCC medalist and grappling superstar Garry Tonon won his return to ONE Fighting Championship with a submission victory over previously undefeated Shamil Gasanov in the second round. Tammi Musumeci beat Amanda "Tubby" Alequin in a closely contested grappling superfight on the ONE Fighting Championship stage.

Team New Wave's Garry Tonon will return to mixed martial arts competition this Saturday, when he takes on undefeated Russian Shamil Gasanov at ONE Fighting Championship. The event will also feature grappling superfight Tammi Musumeci vs Amanda "Tubby" Alequin, a rematch of their previous WNO match.

The ADCC made an enormous change this week, announcing the women's weight classes will be reclassified from -60kg and +60kg to -55kg, -65kg, and +65kg. He'll face Pedro Marinho, an IBJJF No-Gi World Champion making his WNO debut in the title shot.

Pedro Marinho was just a purple belt in 2019 the first time he faced Craig Jones at Kasai 5. The rising star from Gracie Barra took Jones to a draw in the April event in New York, part of the eight-man 205 lb tournament.
