Tomorrow’s ADCC Las Vegas Open will feature more than 100 divisions spanning from kids, teens and masters to the adult pro divisions. It will be a great opportunity for athletes of all ages to experience the unique ruleset of ADCC; and for current and aspiring pros hoping to earn a spot in a future ADCC World Championship, that experience will be invaluable.

While the grappling world will have their eyes on the 2022 ADCC World Championships, some grappling talents will be competing in the two-days earlier ADCC Las Vegas Open, streamed live on FloGrappling.

Among the roster of athletes who competed at Tezos WNO: Who’s Next Finale, there were four ADCC Trials Winners, two ADCC 2022 invitees, and one returning ADCC Champion.

The first ever season of Who's Next came to a culmination on Thursday night, and after a wild series of events Izaak Michell walked away with the $10,000 plus an additional 10,000 TEZ and the title of Who's Next Season One champion. Izaak and opponent Kyle Chambers went at it for over two hours, on two different mats, before Izaak was eventually able to secure an armbar finish after controlling the majority of the match.

The vacant Tezos WNO Heavyweight Title is up for grabs, and tonight, either Gordon Ryan or Pedro Marinho will take the belt home. 5-0 on WNO, Gordon Ryan hasn’t lost a match in nearly 50 bouts, and has become increasingly dominant at each turn on the mat. But his opponent, WNO Light Heavyweight Champion Pedro Marinho is looking to avenge a three-year old loss, and prove that he belongs in the conversation among the best in the world.

Online betting sites have released money lines for Tezos WNO: Who’s Next Finale presented by Fat Tire. The July 14 card is scheduled to feature five main card bouts as well as three undercard matchups. There are money lines for each, including straight up bets and juicy props. The season one final for Who’s Next: Submission Fighter Challenge presented by Tezos has been decided, and on Thursday, July 14, the two finalists will square off in the main event of Tezos WNO: Who’s Next Finale presented by Fat Tire.

The premise is simple: 16 athletes have come to Austin, TX, for a grappling tournament. FloGrappling’s Who’s Next: Submission Fighter Challenge presented by Tezos has brought up-and-coming submission grapplers from across the world to compete for $10,000 and a three-fight contract on WNO.

The ADCC 2022 West Coast Trials represented the last chance for North American competitors to claim their spot at the prestigious ADCC 2022 World Championships taking place in Last Vegas in September later this year.  The divisions were beyond loaded, and for the first time ever in trials history,  brackets were capped at a maximum of 256(!) competitors out of sheer necessity.

More than 1,000 competitors have been shaved down to just 160. With the first day of the 2022 ADCC West Coast Trials wrapped up, the final brackets are set for the final day of competition.

With eight mats, more than 1,000 competitors, and hundreds of grappling all stars, it's nearly impossible to stay on top of all the action from the 2022 ADCC West Coast Trials.

The 1st North American ADCC Trials are underway. With nearly 800 competitors registered for the event, this is the largest event in the history of the ADCC trials. The two-day event has massive stakes: each of the five male winners will earn an invitation to the 2022 ADCC World Championships, while both female winners will get a free trip to the 2nd North American Trials.

Before the black belts take the mats at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday October 10, the brown belts will warm the mats up on Friday, October 8.
