The 2024 ADCC World Championships is less than a year away, coming to Las Vegas, NV in August 2024.

February 17, 2024. It’s a cold morning, temperatures just above freezing in Zagreb, Croatia. Hundreds of athletes pace the floors or sit alongside the mats, warming up and patiently waiting for their turn to fight. Only eight will punch their tickets to the desert heat and fanfare of Las Vegas, Nevada for ADCC 2024, in exactly six months to the day.

The winners of the 2023 FloGrappling Awards, presented by Kingz Kimonos, are here! We honor athletes from five different categories, given to those who earned the most fan votes. The results are in and the following winners have emerged from the pools of worthy contenders.

B-Team's Jozef Chen had the performance of his life at the 1st ADCC Europe, Middle East & African Trials, punching his ticket to the 2024 ADCC World Championships next August.

B-Team's Jozef Chen will be one of the select grapplers taking part in the second stage of AIGA quarterfinals, as he represents team Al Leone at 76kg in its Aug. 19-20 bid to qualify for December's finals. Jozef is one of grappling's most exciting young stars, as the B-Team prospect keeps building his name with exciting finishes and high placements in tough tournaments.

The 2022 season of Tezos WNO featured 40 matches of up and coming grapplers and established world champions. Out of 40 matches, 20 resulted in submissions, including a couple firsts in Tezos WNO history: a Z-lock by Jozef Chen and a camel crusher by “The Sultan of Strangles,” Mike Rakshan.

The submission specialists were out in full force at Tezos WNO: Ste-Marie vs Bastos presented by Fat Tire. Half of the eight matches on the card in Frisco, TX on November 11 ended in submission, and each of them within ten minutes.

The athletes are weighed in, and the mats are down in Frisco, TX for Tezos WNO: Ste-Marie presented by Fat Tire. The final Tezos WNO card of the season is loaded from top to bottom with some of the most explosive and unpredictable athletes in grappling. The card has been shuffled and shuffled again; but now it’s fight week, and the betting lines are official for Tezos WNO: Ste-Marie vs Bastos presented by Fat Tire.

Update: Andy Varela vs Jozef Chen has been promoted to the main card. Emily Fernandez vs Rosa Walsh and Mourece Ramirez vs Keven Carraso remain on the undercard.

Tomorrow’s ADCC Las Vegas Open will feature more than 100 divisions spanning from kids, teens and masters to the adult pro divisions. It will be a great opportunity for athletes of all ages to experience the unique ruleset of ADCC; and for current and aspiring pros hoping to earn a spot in a future ADCC World Championship, that experience will be invaluable.

While the grappling world will have their eyes on the 2022 ADCC World Championships, some grappling talents will be competing in the two-days earlier ADCC Las Vegas Open, streamed live on FloGrappling.

The final seven ADCC Trials winners were determined at the ADCC Asia & Oceania Trials, which took place in Sydney, Australia, this weekend. Athletes from across Australia, New Zeland and Asia tried to stake their claim too the remaining spots, demonstrating aggressive wrestling, flashy backtakes, and sharp submission skills. Here are the seven newest qualifiers for the 2022 ADCC World Championships in September in Las Vegas.

It’s the final chance for ADCC hopefuls to earn a ticket to the 2022 ADCC World Championships. The 2022 Asia & Oceania Trials will take place on Saturday, June 18, and will feature athletes from Australia, New Zealand and across Asia will try to earn their spot at the biggest submission wrestling event in history. The brackets have just been released, giving us a chance to scope out some of the favorites in each division.

It’s the last chance for citizens of European, African, and Middle Eastern countries to qualify for the biggest event in submission wrestling history. Seven new ADCC competitors will earn their tickets to the big show in Poland on May 7 at the 2nd ADCC European Trials.
